TULSA - A man was arrested Tuesday after police say he broke into a car lot and vandalized several police cars.
Tuesday, Tulsa police received a call about a man breaking into a city garage near 1720 Newblock Park Drive.
Police say the suspect, 43-year-old Paul Campbell, found a key to one of the vehicles after breaking into the TPD lot. Campbell then drove the vehicle into three other police cars and a trailer.
Police say they eventually talked Campbell into getting out of the vehicle when they noticed that he was intoxicated.
Campbell was charged with trespassing, joyriding, malicious injury to property and public intoxication.
Tulsa police say the damage caused by Campbell totals out to more than $2,500.
