Tulsa police: 1 injured after shots fired in north Tulsa

TULSA — According to Tulsa police, officers reported to shots fired on Tuesday morning around 46th Street North and North Peoria Avenue.

Police say there were five shots fired at the scene and a 28-year-old victim was shot while in the driveway.

Officers say the victim was shot in his back and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect ran north from the location after shooting the victim, but no one witnessed the shooting.

Officers say they are searching for the subject along with a K-9 unit.

According to police, the suspect is a black male wearing a white t-shirt and brown pants.
