Hunting season is here, but the City of Tulsa is sending out a warning.

They say don't put your bullets in the blue recycling bins.

They say any type of ammunition or firearms should never go into their curbside bins because they could hurt the workers.

Crews showed 2 Works For You some of the ammo, guns and even a grenade that was recovered.

“We don't know... especially live ammunition... our equipment is automated and if it gets pinched in there it could actually set off and kill someone or do great harm to someone," Robert Pickens said.

If you have any questions on where to recycle guns and ammo, please call 311 or wait for the "household pollutants drive" held twice a year.
