TULSA - A Tulsa couple is fuming after they claim a parent parked in a handicap spot illegally at a local elementary.
It's the little things that can captivate a 7-year-old's attention, like dirt.
"My daughter has seizures," Lisa Lincoln said. "Her longest one lasted an hour.”
Lily Lincoln attends Clinton West Elementary School.
“Yesterday my husband went to pick up my daughter from her school," Lincoln said.
Like usual, Joseph Lincoln parked in one of the handicap spots.
“It should be black and white," he said. "There is no grey area in this."
Things quickly escalated and Lincoln wants the world to see and hear it.
"There’s no good enough reason for someone who does legitimately need it," Lincoln said.
As the family of four watches the video again, the couple of almost 20 years wants their kids to know right from wrong.
“It’s never just a minute and it’s always a lot longer than you believe and just don’t be lazy," Lisa Lincoln said.
“It can be very frustrating when I’m trying to teach my kids, who are both disabled in their own way, to do the right thing and I see other people not doing the right thing," Joseph Lincoln said. “I’m like why does it have to come to this?”
The parents say they've asked the principal to keep an eye out for those who park illegally without a proper handicap tag.
