TULSA -- A Tulsa man has pled guilty to the 2015 murder of an infant.
Wednesday, Nathaniel Watkins pled guilty to the murder of a 1 year-old child.
Nevaeh Brookens-Roldan was pronounced dead at the hospital on her 1st birthday. According to a police report, she had been severely shaken and injured by Watkins, her mother's live in boyfriend.
The child's mother, Hallelujah Brookens was charged with permitting child abuse. She is scheduled in court on March 6.
The murder was Tulsa's 53rd homicide of 2015.
According to court documents, Watkins will be sentenced on April 12.
