The City of Tulsa held a special collection drive for tires, electronics, ammunition and medicine Saturday at their Household Pollutant Facility.
The building, near 51st and Elwood, normally takes bleach, stains, varnishes and oil.
Tulsa’s Stormwater Quality Manager says collecting these items can make our community look a lot cleaner.
“Blight in Tulsa can be a big issue, and we want to keep our natural areas as pristine as possible, and that’s why we’re giving citizens options for properly disposing of them,” Jacob Hagen said.
The pollutant collection facility is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
