TULSA, Okla. — A man is caught on camera walking into a family's home and walking out with thousands of dollars worth of belongings -- even a weapon.

The family was sleeping when it happened.

The intruder is seen walking in at 6:29 Tuesday morning, wearing boots and gloves. A tattoo can also be spotted on his neck.

He makes his way through the kitchen to the living room. By 6:30, he is out.

"It's just a violation that somebody's brazen enough to walk right into our home and steal stuff and not even care," saidTerry Oard, the homeowner. "This has been a safe neighborhood. Lately, we've had several break-ins."

Oard says two of his neighbors called police before he did for the same reason.

"So aggravating," he said.

A gun, tools, a laptop, credit cards, and other important items are now gone, but the man also left something behind.

"This is the flashlight we found outside in close proximity to the house. He must've dropped it," Oard said. "He had it in his mouth. That's the part we're concerned about. Tulsa police are going to try to pull DNA off of it through saliva, since he did have it in his mouth."

Oard says they found the piece of evidence after filing a police report. An investigator is supposed to pick it up Wednesday.

Oard now only hopes his story serves as a warning.

"If he's going to do it to me, he's going to do it to somebody else," Oard said.
