TULSA, Okla. — The upcoming Global Awards Vision Gala will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on October 29. This year's theme is "Moon over Moracco."
The three honorees this year are Oklahoma State University School of Global Studies and Partnerships, Cathryn Render and General Thomas P. Stafford.
They'll be recognized for their "significant and lasting contributions to citizen diplomacy, global understanding" among other things.
Proceeds from the gala will benefit the Tulsa Global Alliance, an organization of the International Council of Tulsa and Sister Cities International of Tulsa, which hosts international visitors every year and supports global education efforts and business seminars.
