TULSA – A suspect is in handcuffs after allegedly setting an apartment on fire Monday.

According to Tulsa police, Jordan Schupp, was refusing to attend Mental Health Counseling at COPES when he father called to have the program assist him in taking Schupp.

Tulsa police went on to say that before COPES and TPD could arrive, Schupp had set the inside of the apartment on fire at Somerset at Union located at 9421 East 65th Street.

The father of the suspect, Schupps, says he contacted the Tulsa Fire Dept. to assist as well. Firefighters set up a perimeter of the apartment building while they attended to the flames.
