Tulsa firefighters respond to grass fires, downed power lines at Turkey Mountain

TULSA, Okla. — *Update* According to Turkey Mountain Officials, crews worked through the night to repair the downed power lines. While there may be heavy equipment still in the area, Turkey Mountain is open for visitors again.

Tulsa firefighters are responding to grass fires and downed power lines at Turkey Mountain, according to the Tulsa Fire Department.

Fire officials are advising people to avoid the area until given the all clear.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma said crews are working to restore power in the Tulsa Hills area.
