TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE: According to Tulsa fire officials, the fire that took the life of a family dog, Tuesday morning in north Tulsa, has been ruled accidental.
TFD says that cause was a candle.

The Tulsa Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire in north Tulsa where officials say a family's dog has died.
Crews were dispatched early Tuesday morning to the home on North Maplewood Avenue near East Easton Street. They believe the fire started in the front right side of the home.
Officials on scene say they were able to quickly put out the fire.
No one was inside the house at the time, but when firefighters made their way inside, they found a dog deceased. They are trying to make contact with the homeowner.
At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
