TULSA--Police responded to a suspicious person call early Tuesday morning, which resulted in Tulsa Fire Department fighting a fire at an old restaurant building.

Officers noticed smoke coming from the abandoned building that used to be the Macaroni Grill.

TFD battled flames at the building located near East 66th Street and Memorial.

Crews had to go under the roof to put out the flames, but got down when the structure became weak.

Investigators say that the fire was likely started by a homeless person trying to stay warm.
