TULSA - The threat of severe weather  loomed over Tulsa Tuesday, but that didn't stop fans of the Tulsa Drillers from making their way to ONEOK Field.

Fans said it would take more than a little rain to keep them away from the game.

Game officials said attendance wasn't as high as usual due to the weather, but plenty of fans showed up nonetheless.

Officials pushed the game back to 6:30 Tuesday night in order to beat out bad weather. Luckily, the storm struck out long enough for the game to finish.

Several fans, like Dennis McDonald, say they like days like this, days when a small number of fans own the field. "I had a feeling it was gonna be like this so its kind of nice when you can come here and own the park and sit wherever you want. You can get a really good glimpse of the guys and yell and have a good time."

There were no delays at ONEOK field Tuesday and the game went on as usual.
