A Tulsa couple claims that a City of Tulsa worker was checking their water meter when their dogs ran up to him in their yard. They claim the worker raised a metal rod and swung it at one of their dogs, striking it. They claim the dog was not moving and was struck multiple times then left to die.
The city worker involved in the case was dismissed from his duties and Tulsa Police are investigating the incident. If found guilty of animal abuse, a felony, he faces up to five years in prison.
