TULSA -- Staff at the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office shaved their heads Friday in support of a Corporal’s wife fighting cancer.

For months, Chrystal Eldridge has battled a rare form of cancer known as sarcoma.

In October, the 36-year-old has a six-inch tumor removed from her ribs.

The mother of two has undergone a total of 32 rounds of radiation and is in the midst of chemo.

To show their support and stand in solidarity with Eldridge, TCSO staff shaved their heads to match Crystal’s.

Staff also donated money to a cause close to Eldridge’s heart, a non-profit called Assistance in Healthcare INC. In total, the group raised more than $3,000. For more information about the organization click here.
