TULSA — Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado was involved in a car accident on the way to the deputy-involved shooting Thursday morning.
TCSO officials said Sheriff Regalado was hit by a woman who was driving at a high rate of speed out of an apartment complex in the 1900 block of SW Boulevard.
Officials said Sheriff Regalado suffered minor injuries, but is at work today.
His car is inoperable, officials said.
Tulsa police officials said no arrests have been made.
TCSO officials said this is Sheriff Regalado's first-ever crash in his 30-year career.
