A Tulsa birthday boy's day was made after the sheriff and his deputies surprised him for his birthday.
They drove by 5-year-old Angel Sanchez's home with lights flashing Monday.
Angel's party was canceled because of the virus. So, his mom put in a special request to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
"She asked if we could send one deputy by. We decided, let's make it even better. It's his birthday," Sheriff Vic Regalado said. "We decided to get a bunch of deputies to come out with lights and sirens on, waiving and wish him a happy birthday."
Margarita Sanchez, the birthday boy's mom, said, "Since he's a big fan of the sheriff, we decided to contact them. We were so lucky they responded. We weren't expecting all this, but he's so happy."
Margarita says her son wants to be a deputy when he grows up.
