Tulsa council meeting to explore racial differences, reducing disparity

TULSA, Okla. — The conversation between city officials and the community about racial differences in Tulsa continues in a special council meeting on Wednesday night.

Wednesday night’s topic highlights the relationship between local law enforcement and citizens, specifically youth.

The goal is to develop a strategy to better serve the community and reduce racial disparity.

This is the second meeting councilors have held in the last few days regarding this topic.

You can attend the special meeting will be held at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center downtown at 5:30 p.m.

They say it will be an open question-and-answer dialogue between councilors and selected panelists.
