Tulsa Community College launches mentoring program

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Community College launched its mentoring program Monday morning.

The Leadership Summit focused on networking for the young men so they could find a mentor among faculty, staff, administrators, or community leaders attending the event.

Tulsa Community College academic success coach, Michael Singleton says networking with students is about securing their future success.

"We know that the more connections they have the more likely they are to succeed in college," Singleton said. "As educators it's our job to seek them out at reach out to them so they know that they have our support to they can be successful."
