TULSA, Okla — Both ceremonies will be held at the Pavilion at Expo Square in Tulsa.

Four of TCC's schools are participating in the ceremony at 5 p.m., and three of it's schools will take part in the 7:30 p.m. ceremony.

TCC is anticipating to award more than two-thousand-seven-hundred degrees and certificates to graduates for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Some of those graduates will participate in commencement with Tulsa City Councilor Phil Lakin as the keynote speaker

Here are the schools that will be part of each commencement ceremony:

  • 5 p.m. - graduates from the Schools of Business & Information Technology, Nursing, Visual & Performing Arts and Science and Mathematics
  • 7:30 p.m. - graduates from the Schools of Liberal Arts and Communications, Engineering, Aviation, and Public Service and Allied Health

Three students from three different high schools will be graduating TCC with an Associate Degree before they have their high school diploma.

The first student from Keifer will earn two associate degrees including Spanish and Business Administration.

A second student from a Tulsa charter school will earn an associate degree in Biology.

The third student from Verdigris will earn an associate degree in liberal arts.

For the first time, TCC has blue cords for high school students who earn a degree at the same time as their diploma.
