Tulsa business donates money for 20k meals

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa business is helping provide 20,000 meals to hungry families across Green Country.

Today, the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma received a $5,000 check from Tulsa Retina Consultants.

"We work with the community, we live outside community, we see the community every day and feel its a strong need to have food security in the community," said Dr. Lars Freisberg with Tulsa Retina Consultants.

The food bank says one in six Oklahomans struggle to get enough food for a healthy life.
