TULSA — The Tulsa International Airport is anticipating a 3.5-percent increase in the number of travelers this year than last.

TIA representatives said Dec. 21, Dec. 26 and Dec. 28 are going to be their busiest days over the next two weeks.

They advise travelers flying before 8:00 a.m. to arrive two hours early. Passengers whose flights leave after 8:00 a.m. are asked to arrive 90 minutes before departure.

AAA predicts one in three people will be traveling this holiday season. They expect a record number of people to drive to their holiday destination.
