TULSA – The entire University of Tulsa men's basketball team were on board a chartered flight that was forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday.
The Embraer Regional Jet took off around 3:30 p.m. to head towards Philadelphia for an upcoming game against Temple. Not long after the jet took off, it suffered from engine failure and was forced to return at 3:40 p.m.
A spokesperson with the TU Athletic Dept. says no one was injured during the incident.
The team was able to reschedule another flight, this time commercial, to take them to Philadelphia.
