A set of triplets on their way to college -  graduated tonight from Edison High School.

We've all grown up with our siblings, even gone to high school with our siblings, but what happens if you're part of a set of triplets. That's the case for three Edison High School graduates.

"You go through the same stuff at the same time, you have like the same experience," sister Tala Thorne said. "So, I definitely would say its like living with your best friend or roommates."

Tala, Andrew, and Jacob Thorne are now graduates of the class of 2018.

"I never thought I would make it," Tala said. "I thought I would be in high school forever. I'm really excited to graduate and move on, to say the least,"

"It's a pretty exciting feeling, to say the least," Andrew said. "Just to like say that 'I did it.' I don't think it stops here. I definitely think that college is almost a necessity at least for me at least,"

Brother Jacob is also a valedictorian.

"I guess I could say that I'm representing my siblings, but I'm also representing my dad tonight who has meant a whole lot to me," Jacob said.

The triplet's father passed away from cancer when they were sophomores.

Mom and the triplets know he's looking down from above with excitement for his kids.

"He's got three amazing kids that rose that have so many opportunities for the rest of their whole lives," Jacob said. "I just want him to know that we're proud of everything he's given to us and I just hope he's really proud of us tonight."

"Dad would be so proud and he would be so excited," mom Heather Thorne said. "He would be walking on air right now. He would be so proud of them. So happy to see all of their achievements, accomplishments, and everything that they've done.

Heather was there every step of the way to make sure her kids got the best opportunities.

"From elementary to middle school, high school, to college, so just ensuring that their future, every step critical and important," Heather said.

Just when you think when the triplets might be going off to three different colleges, they aren't - They are all going to the University of Tulsa.
