Name changes could be on the way for more Tulsa Public Schools.
Two elementary schools are up for debate and the debate could get heated.
Columbus Elementary School in east Tulsa and Chouteau Elementary School in west Tulsa are the two schools that would be changed.
Officials said action on changing the names of the schools will take place Monday, June 18.
Columbus would be renamed Dolores Huerta Elementary and Chouteau would be renamed the Wayman Tisdale Fine Arts Academy.
