TULSA - Tulsa Public Schools approved the budget proposal for the upcoming school year.
The district board met Monday night and approved a $545 million budget that will restore some teaching positions.
Over $3 million has been allotted to fund those positions. According to the budget proposal, an estimated 42 teaching jobs and six social worker positions will be retained.
