TULSA — Tulsa police say a woman shot a man in the torso and then left him behind on I-244 Wednesday morning.
Police said it all happened in the eastbound lanes of I-244 near Mingo and Admiral around 9:30 a.m.
A witness told police that they saw a woman, later identified as Ashley Ellis, and a man struggle outside an SUV when the woman drove off, police said.
Officers said the witness went to check on the man and found he'd been shot in the torso.
Officials said the witness then drove the victim to a nearby parking lot and called police.
Police said Ellis was arrested in the 6000 block of East 28th Street and a gun was recovered from the scene.
