TULSA — Tulsa police say a young Tulsa teenager is dead after he found a gun and accidentally shot himself.
Police say on Sunday evening, police responded to Savanna Landing Apartments near 1000 East 60th Street to reports of a shooting.
When police arrived, they found a deceased boy with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say, after investigating, they found a 13-year-old boy had found a gun and brought it to his friend's house.
The teenager took the magazine out but there was still a round in the chamber, police say.
Police say the teen placed the gun to his head and accidentally shot and killed himself.
