TULSA — Tulsa police say they arrested three people in connection to a shooting that took place near South Garnett Road and East 15th Place.

Police say around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night, they found 40-year-old Darrell Hope with gunshot wounds to the torso, outside an apartment complex.

Police say Hope was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after arriving.

Witnesses say they heard three gunshots but were too scared to investigate. Police say witnesses say Hope was walking home after buying cigarettes.

Detectives developed and found the suspects this morning.

Four people were brought into the Detective Division and, police say, three are being charged with first degree murder in the death of Hope.

Police say the three suspects are two juveniles and 23-year-old Hillary Talbert.
