TULSA – Officers are currently searching for the second suspect believed to be involved in the high-speed chase that resulted in another suspect dead.

Tulsa police say an officer, Sergeant Stephen Stoltz, shot and killed a man, Russell Rosser, who was trying to run over him with his vehicle. Police say the shooting came at the end of a police chase that began about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when police tried to stop a pickup truck on the city's east side near Dawson and Pine.

The chase ensued after the suspect refused to pull over and attempted to ram the police cruiser, disabling it.

Now, Tulsa police are searching for a second suspect but no names have been released at this time.

Currently Sergeant Stephen Stoltz is on administrative leave with pay, says TPD.
