TPD: Suspect at large after allegedly shooting his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend

According to Tulsa police, officers are searching for a man who is accused of shooting his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.

Officers responded to the scene and saw a man lying in the street near 31st Street and South Garnett Road, Tuesday night.

Police say the girlfriend's current boyfriend and ex-boyfriend got into a fight in the driveway.

The suspect, Germaine Cooper, pulled out a revolver and fired three or four rounds in the victim's direction, officers say.

The victim was struck in the abdomen area.

Officers say Cooper left the scene in a black Honda Accord with a paper tag and aftermarket rims.

EMSA transported the victim to a local hospital.

According to medical staff, the victim is in critical condition and has been rushed to surgery.

This is a developing story, and Tulsa police are actively looking for the suspect and his vehicle.
