Tulsa police are asking for the public's help as they search for a suspect in connection to a sexual assault that occurred back in June.

Police say back on Friday, June 14 at approximately 11 p.m. in the 9000 block of East 46th Street, a Hispanic male was observed on video trolling parking lots.

The suspect discovered a young woman asleep in the passenger seat of a vehicle in the parking lot of a nightclub and proceeded to climb inside the vehicle and sexually assault her, police say.

Police say the victim woke up during the assault and the suspect threatened to kill her if she made a sound.

The suspect was seen fleeing the scene driving a 2009-2011 silver LTZ 4-door Chevrolet Cruz, police say.

Officers say the suspect was seen on video prior to the sexual assault, circling the parking lot for over an hour.

If you recognize the suspect or the vehicle, you are asked to contact police.
