TPD seize 12 firearms, 2 pounds of heroin, 16 pounds of meth after search

TULSA — Tulsa Police Department officials said a man was arrested after serving a search warrant on an apartment and storage unit Friday.

Narcotics officers with TPD's Special Investigations Division, along with Drug Enforcement Administration agents, said they served search warrants on an apartment near 61st and Memorial and a storage unit in the city limits.

In their search, officers seized 12 firearms, including numerous assault rifles, two pounds of heroin and 16 pounds of methamphetamine, police said.

The man arrested has ties to the Sinaloa Drug Cartel, law enforcement agents said.
