TULSA — Tulsa police need the public's help identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a deadly east Tulsa hit-and-run accident.
Police posted on their Facebook page that they are searching for the driver and vehicle that struck and then ran over a victim back on April 19 near 31st and Highway 169.
Officers said after running over the victim, the suspect vehicle turned into the Windsong Apartments and contemplated their next move.
Footage shows that someone inside the vehicle opened the passenger door and driver-side door, but never exited the vehicle, police said.
Police said the vehicle turns around in the complex and then drives back by the scene.
The vehicle is seen losing quite a bit of oil possibly due damage it suffered after running over the victim, police said.
