TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Jamel Barnett, according to Tulsa police.

Tulsa police are currently investigating a homicide in north Tulsa after they say a mother shot her son.
Police tells 2 Works for You the mother and son got into some sort of altercation, and the mother shot the son.
The son does not live at the home and, police say, is in his 20s.
Police took the mother downtown for questioning.
