TULSA — According to Tulsa police, an officer has been sent to the hospital following a police chase involving four teenagers.
Officers say they attempted to pull over a stolen white Ford F-150 truck near 21st and Sheridan, but the driver took off into a nearby neighborhood.
The truck eventually stopped, but two of the teenagers ran away, and the other two stayed inside the truck, police say.
Investigators say one officers hurt his ankle while chasing after them.
The teens were eventually caught, and the driver of the truck is facing charges, police say.
Police say the three other teenagers involved in the police chase were released.
The injured officer was sent to a local hospital, and he is expected to be okay.
