TPD: North Tulsa Dollar General store robbed at gunpoint, police searching for suspect

TULSA -- Police are searching for a suspect after a north Tulsa Dollar General was robbed a gunpoint Monday afternoon.

Police were called to a store located on the 2800 block of North Peoria Avenue just after 12:30 Monday afternoon.

A store employee told police the suspect entered the store and allegedly pointed a gun at the store clerk, telling her to give him money or he would "spray this place up."

The suspect took cash from the store then ran up a hill into a nearby neighborhood.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black or blue jacket, camo pants and white shoes.
