TULSA – A woman and her baby were able to escape a burning apartment that was allegedly set on fire.
Tulsa police report that Jeremy Bennett, 28, used a red lighter to set a mattress on fire Wednesday at an apartment building. The woman told Tulsa police that Bennett set the bed on fire while she and her 7-month-old baby were inside the apartment.
The report indicates that Bennett was arrested on complaint of first degree arson and endangering a human life.
