TULSA — According to Tulsa police, a man has been arrested in connection to a deadly hammer assault that took place on Oct. 20.
Police say officers reponded to an assault with a deadly weapon where the victim, 35-year-old Wayne Robertson, was assaulted with a hammer by 46-year-old Antyon Custard.
Robertson was transported to a local hospital and died on Oct. 28.
Wednesday, police say Detectives walked a first degree murder warrant on Custard.
Police say Custard was arrested by Warrant Detectives.
