A man accused of giving wrong information to Tulsa police was arrested Friday night in north Tulsa.

Officers say they pulled over a vehicle due to expired tags near Admiral and Harvard. They say the driver and passenger both gave officers their information, but officers suspected the passenger was lying.

When the responding officer went back to his unit, police say the passenger took off on foot. They say a K9 unit helped find the man hiding in a nearby shed and the K9 bit his leg during the discovery.

Police say the man gave them a wrong name and ran because he believed he had a felony warrant. He was identified as Clifton Robinson. Police say Robinson had 13 misdemeanor warrants and was on probation.

Officers took Robinson into custody. No word on the exact charges he is facing.

The driver was not arrested. No one else was hurt.
