TULSA — Tulsa police have canceled a Silver Alert for a 74-year-old man after he was found dead in a nearby shed, officers say.
Police said Leon Hancock, who had dementia, was last seen in the area of 4300 South Union Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
His body was found Tuesday afternoon in a shed, which is about a block away from his home, TPD says.
Investigators say the cold temperatures appear to have been a factor in his death. The state medical examiner will determine the official cause and manner of death.
