TPD involved in standoff with armed robbery suspect in north Tulsa

TULSA--   Police arrest a man after a 14 hour long stand off in North Tulsa.

  Police said a man in his early 20’s surrendered after barricading himself inside a home near the 6800 block of East King street. with a gun all night. Officers said they eventually used tear gas to get the suspect to come out of the home. They said the suspect is a convicted felon and was the same suspect from an armed robbery at the EZ PAWN Tuesday afternoon. Police said they tracked down the suspect at the home where two women admitted to police,  the suspect robbed cash from the EZ Pawn.
   

  “I believe one of the women is his grandmother and the other woman is a female friend, or possibly girlfriend,” said TPD Captain Brian Carlisle.

 Police said the suspect is facing charges for armed robbery.
