TULSA - TPD investigate shooting in north Tulsa; victim shot in the leg.

Police say the victim was in a house when shots were fired from a van just west of MLK Blvd. near 44th St. North a little before 7 p.m. Saturday.

EMSA was canceled on the call. The victim was taken to a local hospital in a personal vehicle.

A suspect in the shooting has not been identified as the investigation continues.

Officers learned a shooting victim arrived at a local hospital and went to question him. The victim, a 29-year-old African American male, stated he was sitting outside his residence with three other friends just before the shooting.  He said he did not know where the gunshots came from or who shot them, and he was very uncooperative, according to TPD.  The victim's injury is considered non-life threatening.
