TULSA - A suspect was taken to the hospital in serious condition Sunday after being shot by a woman defending her home.
Officers say just before 9:30 Sunday night, two men kicked in the door on South 120th East Avenue.
Investigators say a woman grabbed a gun from her bedroom and fired at the suspects, hitting one in the chest.
According to police, the suspects then got into their car and fled the scene. The wounded suspect later showed up at the hospital.
The victim was unharmed.
