Tulsa Police officers arrested 29-year-old Deaon Stoddard for eluding officers in a stolen car.

TPD says Stoddard provided a false identity during a traffic stop on 33rd and Garnett. Then, he sped off leading officers on a high-speed chase across Tulsa that lasted 90 minutes.

At one point during the pursuit, Stoddard almost hit an officer head-on, which forced the officer to swerve on the road.

Police used spike strips to try and slow him down, but Stoddard continued driving with flat tires for more than an hour.

Eventually, the suspect ran out of gas in north Tulsa, and officers arrested him.

They said he had a passenger with him, but the passenger was later released.

Stoddard is facing several felonies including possession of a stolen car and assault with a deadly weapon.
