A man led police on a high-speed chase in Tulsa for the second time in two weeks, but Thursday morning he didn't get away.

Timothy Fields, 50, led Tulsa police on a chase that started near Independence Street between Sheridan and Memorial. Police say they attempted to pull Fields over but he sped off heading towards Highway 75.

Officers say they were finally able to stop Fields and arrested him on six complaints: outstanding felony warrant, being in possession of drug paraphernalia, eluding officers and driving without a license.

Fields was apprehended, police say, by using a familiar tactics for car chases.

"I stop-sticked the car as he drove through Yale and 36th Street North and got all four tires so at that point in time vehicle slowed down to about 30 miles per hour,” said Cpl. Dawson, Tulsa Police Department
