TULSA, Okla. — Two people are in custody after a police chase ends with a driver crashing into a residence in east Tulsa.
The incident happened Monday evening near East 21st and South 129th Avenue.
Police say they attempted to pull over Christian Newkirk before he took off through a neighborhood, and then drove into a house after trying to turn a corner.
Fortunately, nobody was inside the home at the time, but police say a baby was found in a car seat inside Newkirk's vehicle along with a teenager.
Newkirk and his wife Candi Lewis were both arrested, police said. Newkirk is being charged with multiple felonies.
