TULSA — One of the top leaders with the US Department of Education is in Tulsa today.
US Assistant Secretary of Education Frank Brogan is visiting two local schools.
Brogan is on a tour of the Nation's top performing schools.
Including Booker T. Washington High School, which has twice been named a National Blue Ribbon School for Academic Excellence.
And he'll also visit Union's Darnaby Elementary.
The school is recognized for its academic gains in the last year, along with an outstanding Stem Program.
