You know it’s summertime when the heat gets here.
The lakes get busy and the outdoor music festivals start firing up.
That’s exactly what’s happening today on Grand Lake.
This is the first year for the 'Toes In The Grand Summer Kickoff Festival' in Grove.
It's at the Wolf Creek boat ramp.
All day 'trop rock' music is being played.
Organizers said "with Toes In The Grand we’re inviting folks to come by land or by Grand."
“We’re hoping people throughout Northeast Oklahoma and places beyond come and enjoy themselves and have a great time you know in grove and grand lake,”said Donnie Crain, the festival’s organizer.
Festivities continue Saturday at 10:30 with live music all day and night from the wolf creek boat ramp.
