Tulsa police went to say that the driver of the Prius overlooked the child as he left the day care.
Police went on to say that a mother was dropping off three children: carrying one, holding the hand of another. A man driving by did not see the third child next to the mother and thought the group were all out of his way when he drove forward and hit the child.
The child was struck by the two front tires and taken to Saint Francis. TPD says the child has internal injuries but is alert.
Tulsa police say they do not anticipate any charges.
